What to do with Nick Mullens in Week 13 fantasy football

We go over the fantasy football outlook of Nick Mullens ahead of the 49ers Week 13 matchup against the Bills on Monday Night Football.

Despite a win last week over the Rams, San Francisco 49ers quarterback Nick Mullens did not throw a single touchdown pass. He finished the game with 252 yards and one pick. This week, the 49ers will take on the Buffalo Bills, a team that’s been tough on opposing quarterbacks lately, leaving some doubt about Mullens’ usefulness in fantasy football.

Fantasy Football analysis: 49ers QB Nick Mullens

In seven games played this season, five starts, Mullens has only throw for more than one touchdown in one game. While his play has been able to keep the 49ers in the playoff hunt, Mullens has not been a useable player in fantasy football.

Quarterbacks are averaging more than 20 points per game against the Bills, but in recent weeks, they’re doing most of the damage against Buffalo with rushing touchdowns. The Bills have allowed four touchdown passes in their last five games, giving up the same number of rushing scores in that span. Unfortunately, that doesn’t do much for Mullens’ fantasy value.
