We go over the fantasy football outlook of Evan Engram ahead of the Giants Week 13 matchup against the Seahawks.

New York Giants tight end Evan Engram went off last week against the Bengals. Tied for the team lead in targets in that game, he caught six passes on nine throws and rolled up an impressive 129 yards. Congrats if you had him in your fantasy lineup last week. Now, if you’re wondering whether or not he could post similar numbers this week against the Seahawks, well, there is reason for optimism, but let’s not get carried away.

Fantasy Football analysis: Giants TE Evan Engram

What’s most appealing Engram for fantasy purposes is the number of targets he’s had lately. He’s had at least nine targets in four of his last five games, and he’s cracked the 40-yard mark in each of those four outings. He also had a touchdown in that stretch.

The Seahawks have been beat up by tight ends lately. The Eagles had two tight ends produce 128 yards and a pair of touchdowns last week, and Seattle has given up three scores to the position in their last two.

Complicating the picture here somewhat is quarterback Colt McCoy making the start in place of an injured Daniel Jones. His presence under center is liable to clip the yardage totals thanks to his inability to get the ball down the field. But Engram has an established role in the offense, and he’ll be a reliable safety valve for the dink and dunk specialist.
