Game status: Terry McLaurin is ACTIVE for Monday football vs. the Steelers.

Game day update: Terry McLaurin is expected to play on Monday against the Steelers, per John Keim.

The Washington Football Team faces a stiff challenge in Week 13 when they travel to face the Pittsburgh Steelers late Monday afternoon. Washington is in relatively good health for the game, but wide receiver Terry McLaurin is dealing with a nagging ankle injury heading into the game.

McLaurin was not listed on Thursday’s practice participation report, but then was listed as limited on Friday. The team did not practice on Saturday, but the estimated report had him listed as full. He was listed as questionable on the final injury report. Although the injury is new on the listing this week, he was questionable on Thanksgiving with an ankle injury, so he might have tweaked it in practice.

Fantasy impact: Terry McLaurin (ankle)

McLaurin put together a seven-reception, 92-yard effort on Thanksgiving in spite of the ankle injury. He’s led the team in receiving in all but one game this season and has at least 74 yards in all but one game this season. He’s the clear No. 1 and worth a WR2 start week in and week out.

The Steelers defense ranks 14th in fantasy points allowed to receivers, and notably 26th in pass defense efficiency against No. 1 receivers. This is a sneaky good matchup for McLaurin and he’s worth a start even with the ankle injury.
