Update: Despite a spirited second-half come back from the Titans, the Browns held on for a 41-35 win Sunday afternoon. Baker Mayfield finished the day with 334 passing yards, four touchdowns, and a rating of 147.0. With these type of stats, Mayfield will likely come out on top as a top-5 quarterback play in Week 13.

For all the talk that the Cleveland Browns’ offense is just centered around running backs Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt, quarterback Baker Mayfield is proving his doubters wrong on Sunday afternoon against the Tennessee Titans.

Mayfield has completed 19-of-23 passes for 282 yards, four touchdowns, and zero interceptions in the first half of the Week 13 matchup. His third touchdown pass was probably his best throw as he found rookie wide receiver Donovan Peoples-Jones streaking down the field wide open for a 75-yard score.

Coming into this matchup, Mayfield had only one other game this season, where he threw for at least four touchdown passes. It was in Week 7 against the Cincinnati Bengals, where Mayfield was 22-of-28 with 297 yards, five touchdowns, and two interceptions. But with the way that he’s playing against a susceptible Titans’ pass defense, Mayfield could easily add a couple of more touchdown passes before the game clock hits 00:00.
