The Houston Texans might’ve found themselves a solid third wide receiver to pair with Brandin Cooks and Keke Coutee on Sunday afternoon. Heading into their Week 13 contest against the Indianapolis Colts, many analysts were wondering who would step up in place of Will Fuller V and Kenny Stills.
Coutee was the team’s leading receiver with eight receptions (nine targets) for 141 yards, but finishing right behind him was Chad Hansen. Hansen recorded a career-high five receptions (seven targets) for 101 yards against the Colts.
Entering this game, the 25-year-old had nine receptions for 94 yards over his career. The last time Hansen had any regular season snaps was in 2017. During that season, his best game was against the Bucs, where he posted three receptions (on four targets) for 33 yards. It is hard to gauge whether this performance was a flash in the pan or it is something to build off. As of right now, it would not be smart to put in a waiver wire claim for Hansen because there are better options. Hansen is currently available in 100 percent of Yahoo fantasy leagues.
