Week 14 was a good one for some maligned quarterbacks, with Derek Carr, Baker Mayfield, Matthew Stafford, Jared Goff and Cam Newton all putting up good fantasy numbers. Carr lead the way after a disastrous game against the Falcons last week.
Josh Allen had a strong bounce back game as well, throwing for 375 yards and four touchdowns against the 49ers. It was his best fantasy game since his phenomenal start to the season.
Ryan Tannehill was forced to throw more than usual and ended up throwing for 389 yards, three touchdowns and an interception. But, Tannehill can still put up good numbers when not throwing 40+ times when the running game is working. The Jaguars and Lions are next on the docket.
Jalen Hurts will take over the starting job from Carson Wentz, but due to poor play rather than an injury. Unfortunately Hurts will have to face the Saints monster defensive line.
Daniel Jones could return this week from his hamstring injury. If not, Colt McCoy would again get the start.
There are no teams on bye in Week 14.
The Buccaneers have given up 12 passing touchdowns in their last four games and aren’t nearly the defense they were in the first half of the season. Cousins has been on fire of late and with the combo of Adam Thielen and Justin Jefferson, his upside is good.
Mike Glennon, Jaguars
Do you really want to start Glennon in the fantasy playoffs? Absolutely not. But, if we’re talking DFS, he gets a nice matchup with the Titans. Glennon has also been airing the ball out consistently since getting the start, giving him real upside with a few big hitters.
