Drew Brees could practice for Week 14, but unlikely to play

The Saints may need to wait another week to get their starting QB back in the fold

New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees is coming along well in his rehab and could push things in practice on Thursday to see where he is, but is more likely to sit, per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

We should see Taysom Hill start at least one more time when the Saints head to Philadelphia to take on the Eagles this week. Hill has helped the Saints to three wins while Brees has been recovering from fractured ribs and a punctured lung. Hill has played well, especially for fantasy, ranking as the No. 3 fantasy quarterback over the last three weeks. His rushing ability continues to boost his numbers, but the Eagles defensive line will likely be his toughest test as a starter.

Brees could be back for Week 15, which would be a big test against the Kansas City Chiefs in New Orleans. That will be appointment viewing if we can get the two future Hall-of-Famers head-to-head.
