Looking for some advice as to how to bet on the Daytona 500 today? We’ve got you covered! Here’s some tips for picking the best lineup for the Great American Race on Sunday, February 16th at 2:30 p.m.
Kevin Harvick ($9700)
He was fourth in the Duel, showed plenty of car, and inked a two-year contract extension this morning. Plus he’s won The Big One at Daytona before. You want a guy with the car and the experience, and that’s Harvick to a T. Plus at only $9700 he leaves you a bit of room down the board as well.
William Byron ($8300)
All this guy does is run near the top of the field, and he won his Duel on Thursday night. Seems like an absolute steal at this price, with the discount being that he’s yet to win a full Cup race. Byron seems like a must-have for many lineups on Sunday.
Joey Logano ($10500)
It’s tough to eat the chalk in DFS sometimes, but in this case it’s warranted. Won his Duel, was the fastest in practice on Saturday, and is the second-favorite by bettors as well.
Kyle Busch ($9800)
Strictly a value play here: He’s the chalk at the sportsbook to win it all here at 9-1, but still $700 cheaper in your lineup than the most-expensive driver.
Drivers to avoid: Brad Keselowski ($10200). When he’s not fighting with teammates, he brings a stiff price that can be spent a bit better elsewhere. Can still certainly win the race, but there might be a bit better value above and below him at the top of the board.
Here’s the list of all DFS prices for the Daytona 500 at DraftKings.
