The Morning Line: Creighton vs. Marquette, Kentucky vs. LSU, and more

Clear your schedule to enjoy lots of college basketball this evening, as the sprint to Selection Sunday starts tonight.

Grab a spot on the couch, order a pizza, and fire up a second screen: tonight college basketball begins its grip on you through the Final Four.

There are some terrific games on tonight, many with NCAA implications, but sometimes just high-level quality college hoops. Creighton and Marcus Zegarowski heads to Milwaukee to face Markus Howard and Marquette. Baylor wants to continue its march toward the No. 1 overall seed at Oklahoma. The trick might be not looking ahead to No. 3 Kansas on Saturday already, in what will be the biggest NCAA hoops game of the year so far.

Kentucky heads to LSU, with the winner in first place in the SEC. Also a good time to remember that this tilt once had a team come back from down 31 with 15 minutes left. We can’t promise tonight will be that dramatic, but with Ashton Hagans and Skylar Mays, we know you’ll see good hoops.

The Wooden Award favorite Obi Toppin heads to VCU, in a game the Rams could desperately use to get off the bubble for good. Purdue goes to Wisconsin in search of a Q1 on the road. And two of the surprises in the Big Ten, Illinois and Penn State, battle it out in Happy Valley.

The sprint to March 15th and Selection Sunday begins in earnest tonight. Let’s roll.
