UPDATE: 8:05 p.m. March 11th: The ACC will not have fans at the rest of this tournament following tonight’s games.

The Atlantic Coast Conference Championship will take place from March 10-14 at the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Perhaps the toughest ticket of any postseason tournament, the tradition of the ACC brings fans from across the eastern seaboard to Greensboro.

Right now three schools in Duke, Louisville, and Florida State can claim a spot in the NCAA Tournament no matter what happens. But the rest of the conference will be fighting for at-large spots or the automatic bid in what’s been a down year for the league.

Pittsburgh managed to get by Wake Forest in the first round, but saw its tournament dreams smashed by N.C. State in its second game. North Carolina beat Virginia Tech handily in the opening round, but will have to best Syracuse to reach the quarterfinals.

Here’s the bracket, with all games being broadcast on ESPN platforms as well as The ACC Network. The stations will be determined at a later date.

Though there are three guaranteed slots for the league before the automatic bid this year, teams such as Virginia, Syracuse, and North Carolina State might be entering the tournament in search of at least one and maybe two or three wins to make the field. Having a 15-team conference combined with the depth of bubble-available teams, make every game in this tournament have some implications for the NCAA or NIT.
