The Atlanta Hawks will be without C Clint Capela when they return from the All-Star Break to face the Miami Heat on Thursday. Capela hasn’t made his Atlanta debut since being traded by the Houston Rockets in the four-team deal before the deadline. He has a heel injury and is also dealing with plantar fasciitis, which is a tricky injury for bigs. Capela could play on Saturday against the Dallas Mavericks, but for now, that’s unclear.
Fantasy basketball analysis: Hawks C Clint Capela
With Capela out, the Hawks don’t have many bodies in the front court. John Collins and Dewayne Dedmon are the two players who will rotate at PF and C with Bruno Fernando and Damion Jones seeing a few minutes. As long as Cap is out, Dedmon remains a strong play in DFS and season-long. Collins isn’t impacted as much — he’s been solid for most of the season.
