Super Bowl 54 fourth quarter recap

Playing from behind, the Chiefs had to lean on their passing game in the fourth quarter. This was huge for Hill’s fantasy value and he finally broke out in crunch time. Hill ended up going for over 100 yards and led the game is receiving.

Super Bowl 54 third quarter recap

Hill was kept off the stat sheet in the third quarter. Mahomes arguably had his worst quarter of the postseason and he hasn’t been able to find Hill downfield for one of his patented big plays.

Super Bowl 54 second quarter recap

Hill was a little less involved in the second quarter. He caught his only target of the quarter on a 10-yard reception. At the half, he has four catches for 30 yards on five targets.

Super Bowl 54 first quarter recap

Patrick Mahomes looked for Hill early and often. He hauled in the Chiefs’ first reception for an eight guard gain and was targeted a total of four times in the first quarter. Hill finished the quarter with three catches for 20 yards and is on pace to hit the over on most of his props.

The Kansas City Chiefs will count on their dynamic passing attack to be the driving force behind their offense against the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl 54. Patrick Mahomes has a plethora of weapons at wide receiver and running back, and should spread the ball around plenty. Tyreek Hill is among the players most likely to have a show-stopping performance. Can he put together a second consecutive good game after scoring two touchdowns in his last outing?

Hill played second fiddle to Travis Kelce and Damien Williams in the Divisional Round. He tallied three receptions for 41 receiving yard and no scores. His numbers weren’t much different the following game, as he notched five receptions for 67 yards. But his nose for the end zone made the difference.

Hill is averaging 5.5 targets and one carry per contest in the playoffs. Kansas City is expected to make getting the ball in his hands a priority. We’ll be tracking the betting odds on his numbers in Super Bowl 54 here.
