Watkins came just short of 100 receiving yards, but it was still a solid game for him. He finished with five catches for 98 yards and 14.8 DKFP. Watkins talked about not playing football in 2020 during the week, but he might chance his mind after playing a key role in the Chiefs’ Super Bowl win.

Once again, Watkins is having a solid game. After going over 100 yards, last week, he’s Kansas City’s leading receiver in the Super Bowl. Watkins is up to four catches for 60 yards.

After not being involved in the first quarter, Watkins played a big role on a scoring drive early in the second quarter. He caught two passes for 32 yards on the drive, leading to a field goal.

There isn’t much to say about Watkins in the first quarter. He didn’t have a catch and wasn’t targeted. So far, it looks like he is going to be much less involved in the offense than he was during the AFC Championship Game.
The Kansas City Chiefs will count on their dynamic passing attack to be the driving force behind their offense against the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl 54. Patrick Mahomes has a plethora of weapons at wide receiver and running back, and should spread the ball around plenty. Sammy Watkins unexpectedly stole the show in the AFC title game, but will he receive just as much attention on the world’s biggest stage?
Watkins tallied seven receptions for 114 yard and a touchdown in his last appearance, and that was his first score since his three-touchdown outing in Week 1. Patrick Mahomes picked Watkins out as his favorite target against the Titans and threw him 10 balls — the most he’s seen since Week 9. Does this spike in production mean he’ll be a more prominent part of the offense moving forward?
