The San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs have arrived at Hard Rock Stadium for Super Bowl 54, and we’re getting all sorts of video of players walking into the stadium. The quarterbacks get the spotlight, but 49ers cornerback Richard Sherman made a statement of his own. Sherman walked into the game wearing a Kobe Bryant jersey. It appears to be on backward, although it could be an alternate form of jersey.
The NFL announced they will honor Bryant at some point on Sunday, but did not announce the specifics. Sherman probably won’t be the only player to offer a tribute to Bryant.
