UPDATE: Staley returned in the fourth quarter.
The San Francisco 49ers just picked off Patrick Mahomes to send their offense back on the field, but the 49ers offensive line will be a man short. Left tackle Joe Staley suffered a hand injury the previous drive and is questionable to return. Justin Skule has replaced him on this drive.
Skule started eight games during the regular season as an injury replacement. He filled in for both Staley and right tackle Mike McGlinchey at different times this season.
