C-USA was once a proud league with teams like Cincinnati, Memphis, and others that had deep basketball traditions. Now North Texas, Western Kentucky, and Louisiana Tech are atop the standings, and there’s just not enough power to get an at-large bid. Only the winner of this event will go to the NCAA Tournament this year, with squads like UNT, WKU, and La. Tech still heading to the NIT or another postseason tournament.
