Minnesota Timberwolves PF/C Karl-Anthony Towns is expected to miss at least two weeks after being diagnosed with a fractured wrist. Towns hasn’t played since Feb. 10 for the Timberwolves and has yet to make his debut playing alongside newly acquired PG D’Angelo Russell this season.

Fantasy basketball analysis: Timberwolves PF/C Karl-Anthony Towns
With Towns out of the lineup, the T-Wolves have used mostly James Johnson and Juancho Hernangomez in the front court as starters. Both should continue to see big minutes for the next two weeks and even past that. Naz Reid will be the primary backup center off the bench and he’s a good deeper sleeper off the waiver wire in fantasy basketball. The T-Wolves have also been a better defensive team without KAT, so that could be a trendy that continues. Unfortunately, the offense takes a hit — though D’Lo remains the focal point and his usage and minutes will remain very high.
