NASCAR is back for its second race of the season, with the Pennzoil 400 getting underway Sunday afternoon at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Inclement weather delayed and then eventually resulted in a cancellation of qualifying for the race.
The NASCAR rule book states that when qualifying is cancelled, the starting lineup is set by owner points. Kyle Busch has the pole position in the race due to these rules, followed by Martin Truex Jr., Kevin Harvick, and Denny Hamlin. Last weekend, Hamlin won the Daytona 500, Harvick finished fifth, Truex finished 32nd, and Busch finished 34th.
The Pennzoil 400 gets underway at 3:30 p.m. ET on Sunday. It will air on FOX and air on the Motor Racing Network. Busch, Truex, and Harvick are co-favorites on DraftKings Sportsbook at +550 as of the cancellation of qualifying. Harvick is +125 to finish in the top three, while Truex and Busch are +140. Joey Logano is behind them at +700 to win and +175 to finish in the top three.
