Value is a big part of how we succeed in NBA daily fantasy basketball on DraftKings. Here we’ll go over some top bargain options for Sunday night’s main slate on DK, sharing some appealing players priced at $5K or under.
Eric Paschall, SF/PF, GSW vs. NOP ($4,400)
With Draymond Green out and Marquese Chriss questionable, we could see Paschall become the focus down low for the Dubs. It was a while ago, but remember how much Paschall was killing it early in the season? That’s the type of Paschall we could be paying $4,400 for tonight. I’d expect him to start for Green and see upward of 30 minutes in a high-paced environment. The O/U on DKSB right now is 239.5. The pivot in GPPs off Paschall would be Kevon Looney ($3,000).
Jordan McLaughlin, PG, MIN @ DEN ($4,300)
We know D’Angelo Russell is out to rest his knee on the first of a back-to-back. My expectation is that McLaughlin starts and sees over 20 minutes. On a per 36-minute basis, McLaughlin has been productive, averaging 13.2 points and 7.3 assists per 36. The Nuggets won’t be easy to deal with defensively, but at this price point, we aren’t looking for much to hit value from McLaughlin. In the two games he played over 30 minutes this season, he posted 48 and 33.25 DKFP, respectively.
Anfernee Simons, PG/SG, POR vs. DET ($3,900)
We saw Simons somewhat bust on Friday night vs. the Pelicans. He was a trendy play at $3,500, garnering 39.7% ownership in the featured GPP tournament on DraftKings. I’d expect that number to fall a bit, but I still like the spot for Simons. While he didn’t pop vs. NOLA, he still had 19.75 DKFP, which was enough for value. I’m fine eating that type of floor at this price. He played 27 minutes and the last time that had happened, he scored 22 points with seven boards for 34.75 DKFP.
