Washington Wizards C Thomas Bryant is out and SF/PF Davis Bertans is questionable for Monday night’s game vs. the Milwaukee Bucks. Bryant has missed a big chunk of this season due to a foot injury, which will be managed with the rest here. Bertans has a sore knee that has been bothering him and that could hold him out of the second of a back-to-back.

Fantasy basketball and betting analysis
Bryant has only been playing a little bit off the bench since returning from injury. His absence isn’t as big, but will open up some playing time down low for Ian Mahinmi and Isaac Bonga. Bertans is the big ticket here. If he sits, that’s a lot of minutes and usage to soak up. It’s a boost for Bradley Beal, who is coming off of 53 points on Sunday night vs. the Bulls. I’d expect Troy Brown Jr. to see more minutes off the bench, as well as Bonga.
As for a betting angle, well, the Wizards are 13-point underdogs on DraftKings Sportsbook right now. With no Bertans or Bryant, it’s hard to envision Washington reaching a point total that helps the O/U of 243 hit. That’s an insane number. I think the Bucks defense is too strong and Milwaukee would need to score somewhere around 125-130 points for this OVER to realistically hit. The Bucks at -13 is honestly favorable at this point.
