NBA DFS Picks: Top value plays on DraftKings for Feb. 25

Malik Monk should continue his hot shooting against the Indiana Pacers on Tuesday night.

Tuesday night’s NBA main slate on DraftKings will be made up of seven games. Injuries play a big role in the night’s best value picks for DFS contests, and we broke down what moves we think make the most sense.

NBA DFS value picks for Wednesday February 25th

Malik Monk, CHA vs. IND, $4,900
Gary Trent Jr., POR vs. BOS, $4,500
Justin Holiday, IND vs. CHA, $4,100

Malik Monk has come into his own in the back half of the 2019-20 season and is averaging 16.2 points per game in his last 10 appearances. Last week, he became the first player to score at least 25 points off the bench for the Charlotte Hornets since Del Curry did in 1992. He’ll face an Indiana Pacer team that lost Jeremy Lamb for the year because of several knee injuries, and Victor Oladipo is still easing back into the NBA game. If he keeps getting looks, he could light it up again as a reserve.

Gary Trent Jr. has started for the Portland Trail Blazers in both the games they’ve played following the All-Star break while Damian Lillard recovers from a groin injury. It only takes a few shots for him to get going, and he’s logged at least 37 minutes in his last two appearances. He should get plenty of opportunities to contribute.

Holiday should get more time on the wing now that Lamb is done for the year. His shooting is a valuable asset that could help him replace Lamb’s 12.5 points per game while Oladipo works himself back into shape. His length gives him a rebounding advantage over smaller guards like Terry Rozier and Devonte’ Graham and should also allow him to get his shot off easily.
