The Afternoon Line February 25: Bet splits for Iowa vs. Michigan State, Texas Tech vs. OU

There’s plenty of great college basketball tonight, including the guy closing in the Wooden Award for player of the year.

There are several NCAA Tournament teams hitting the hardwood tonight, with most of the big games on national tv. Sit back and settle in for some good ones as we check the lines ahead of tonight’s action.

No. 18 Iowa heads to Lansing to face No. 24 Michigan State for a Big Ten battle, with the winner jumping into second place in the toughest conference in college basketball. The status of Iowa’s CJ Fredrick is a big question, with Iowa catching 8.5 points despite being the higher-ranked team. Michigan State is only 1-4 straight up in February against Top 30 teams.

If you haven’t seen Iowa’s Luka Garza, he’s quickly closing in on the Wooden Award for college basketball player of the year. As high as +1500 earlier, it’s down to +115 for the Hawkeyes center that’s as good from three-point range as he is on the post.

Right now the bettors are on Iowa as well, with 68% of the handle and 71% of the bets at DraftKings Sportsbook.

In the Big XII the Texas Tech Red Raiders take on the Oklahoma Sooners, but in Oklahoma City at Chesapeake Energy Arena instead of Norman. TTU is safely in the NCAA Tournament field now in a league dominated by Kansas and Baylor, but Oklahoma is listed as a No. 10 seed by Jerry Palm as of now, and for sure could use some help heading into the final weeks of the regular season.

Right now the sharp bettors seem to like the Sooners, as they have just 25% of the bet slips but a massive 67% of the handle at DK.

Here are all the odds for today’s college basketball action from DraftKings Sportsbook:
