Washington State junior guard Isaac Bonton could potentially miss his fourth consecutive game tonight against Washington.
The leg injury to Bonton is a big loss for Wazzu, who averages 14.8 points and 3.7 rebounds per game for the Cougars. The transfer from Montana State has one of the highest usage rates in the Pac-12, and is a key loss WSU could use heading towards the conference tournament in Las Vegas in two weeks.
Head coach Kyle Smith does think his point guard could go tonight:
Kyle Smith said #WSU point guard Isaac Bonton is practicing this week.

“We’re confident he’s closer to playing.”
Washington State has lost all three games without Bonton to fall to 5-10 in the Pac-12. They won at home 79-67 against Washington with a healthy Bonton, who had 12 points and four assists, but also seven turnovers.
Right now the Coogs are catching 10 points in Seattle, but the status of Bonton will certainly make a difference to bettors on that number.
