Best bets for February 3rd college basketball

We take a look at games like Florida State vs. North Carolina, Baylor vs. Kansas State, and some MEACtion.

Sometimes the best value on the board in college basketball is downstream, and that’s where we’re heading tonight. Yeah we’ve got a pick on the game involving the No. 1 team in America, but we’re going heavy on a conference know a smidge about: bring it on MEAC basketball!

Baylor vs. Kansas State under 125

You can read all about our reasoning from our previous piece here.

Norfolk State +4 at North Carolina Central

MEACtion! The Spartans only have one loss in MEAC play, a six-point loss to first-place NCA&T last time out. They should have a strong bounce back to pull away in second place in their league, and share the scoring wealth enough that should to translate to the road.

Meanwhile NCC is playing better as of late with wins at home against Delaware State and South Carolina State, but that’s the bottom half of a league where the cream is at the top. Jibri Blount for NCC is the only double digit scorer in the lineup, and he just doesn’t have enough help.

Delaware State -3 vs. Maryland Eastern-Shore

Ignore the terrible Hornets record (3-17, 2-6 MEAC): they’ve played four league games against the top two teams in NCA&T and Norfolk State. UMES is pretty bad too having lost five in a row to be 1-5 in the conference, and DSU has a gunner in John Crosby who scores over 20 points per game and has better splits at home.
