The city of Kansas City (Missouri) is hosting a parade to celebrate the Chiefs Super Bowl 54 victory, and it has gotten off to an insane start. Fans lined the parade route and before it could get going, a police chase happened right amidst the fans. Multiple police cars were pursuing another car and had to ram the car to stop it.
The car went through the barricades and police pursued it and eventually stopped it. Police have a person in custody, per KRON 4. We’ve got a pair of videos that show the chase. The first video is the full length of it as reported on the local NBC station. The second video was captured from a hotel room overlooking the parade route.
I didn't know there was such a thing as "textbook technique to stop a car chase and not have civilians getting run over," but apparently there is? pic.twitter.com/JWyJwPVQYS
