Russell Westbrook (Out – Rest)
Westbrook has sat at least one game of every back-to-back this season. He played on Thursday in Los Angeles, so he will sit on Friday against the Suns.
Houston Rockets PG Russell Westbrook will play Thursday vs. the Los Angeles Lakers and rest Friday against the Phoenix Suns. Westbrook has regularly been sitting out one game on back-to-back sets, so this isn’t all that surprising.
Mike D’Antoni says Russell Westbrook will play tonight against the Lakers and will rest tomorrow night against the Suns.

With Westbrook back against the Lakers, its a bit of a downgrade overall for James Harden. Robert Covington is available to make his Houston debut, so that also plays a factor. We’ll see how RoCo meshes with his new teammates. Harden is still a decent GPP play on DraftKings and in Showdown contests, but isn’t the overall top play with Russ in.
