Duke vs. North Carolina final score
The No. 7 Duke Blue Devils beat the North Carolina Tar Heels 98-96 in overtime thanks to two dramatic buzzer beaters by Tre Jones and Wendell Moore.
The Blue Devils are one of the favorites for the Final Four this year, but North Carolina loses to their eternal rival in dramatic fashion thanks to some poor game management and some bad decisions.

Tre Jones finished with 28 points, and Cassius Stanley with 22 for the Blue Devils. In Cole Anthony’s third game back from injury for the Tar Heels, he played 43 minutes and had 24 points.
It might not have been the most important game of the year in college basketball, but it was for sure one of the most dramatic. UNC’s season of discontent continues, and there won’t be a game they’ll think about more as they fall to 10-13 this year.
Here’s a view from the seats that captures the feeling in the Dean Dome:

Wow. What a play by Tre Jones: Intentionally misses the free throw, gets the rebound, and hits the elbow jumper to send it to overtime.
TRE JONES. UNBELIEVABLE.
