What films people are betting on for 2020 Best Supporting Actress at the Oscars

Laura Dern is the betting favorite for Best Supporting Actress at the 2020 Oscars, but there’s some star power behind her in Scarlett Johansson and Margot Robbie.

Oscars Night is coming, and the bettors are just as excited as the paparazzi for the 2020 Academy Awards. On Sunday, February 9th, you’ll see the best of Hollywood celebrating themselves and cinema Live from the Dolby Theater in Hollywood.

Scarlett Johansson’s other Oscar nomination is in this category as well, as Rosie in the WWII film Jojo Rabbit. But the surge is from Margot Robbie in Bombshell for her work as Kayla Pospisil, a composite of several Fox News employees. Her odds have closed quickly, and if anyone can steal the anointing of Laura Dern it’s her.

Dern’s first Oscar nomination was in 1992 for Rambling Rose. She’ll be the heavy favorite to win her first statuette on Sunday night.
