You might have some favorites at the top of the field for the Auto Club 400 today, but what about down the board? Who can get you needed points at a cheaper price? Here’s the racers with the best DFS value at today’s race from the Auto Club Speedway, starting at 3:30 p.m. ET live on Fox.
Bubba Wallace ($6100)
You can do worse that going bargain hunting with a guy that’s starting 14th today, and finished 15th at Daytona and sixth last week at Las Vegas. Hasn’t run particularly well at Fontana (30th and 20th last two races), but he seems to have a better car in 2020 and can’t be beat for the price being laid. For sure capable of picking up some cheap place points today.
Austin Dillon ($7400)
Has finished 10th here the last two races, was 12th at Daytona, and fourth at LVMS. He’s got a good history here, but is starting 25th today in the #3 Dow Coatings Chevy. That means additional place points if he can move up to his normal finishing window at this track. He’s also run four races this year (if you count the duel and all-star race at Daytona), and has led a lap in three of them. Those bonus points add up when you’re down the board.
Daniel Suarez ($6400)
Starts 31st today, which just means more place points if the #96 Toyota Certified Used Vehicles Toyota gets near his average of finishing 14.33 at Fontana. It’s a good track for him, and his 30th last week at Las Vegas gets you a discount. Hope it’s a clean run for him, and pick up the points available.
