UPDATE 4:35 p.m. The NCAA has cancelled all winter and spring championships, including the 2020 NCAA Tournament for both men and women.

Today, NCAA President Mark Emmert and the Board of Governors canceled the Division I men’s and women’s 2020 basketball tournaments, as well as all remaining winter and spring NCAA championships. This decision is based on the evolving COVID-19 public health threat, our ability to ensure the events do not contribute to spread of the pandemic, and the impracticality of hosting such events at any time during this academic year given ongoing decisions by other entities.

With the recent outbreak of coronavirus across the world the NCAA, the college conferences holding postseason tournaments, and the federal, state, and local governments hosting the events are all taking different measures to help contain the outbreak. We’ll keep a list of what we know is happening here.

UPDATE March 11, 9:02 p.m. The Pac-12 will not have fans at T-Mobile Arena after tonight’s action:

UPDATE March 11, 7:54 p.m. The Atlantic 10 will meet to decide how to address its conference tournament Wednesday night. The Big Ten and American Athletic Conference have decided not have fans in attendance during tournament play.

UPDATE March 11, 6:47 p.m. The Big XII Tournament will only have 125 tickets available per team for the event.

UPDATE March 11, 5:18 p.m. We might see a change of some venues for the NCAA Tournament as well since there won’t be fans in attendance.

UPDATE March 11, 4:40 p.m. There will be no fans at the NCAA Tournaments for men or women in 2020.

What we know so far

If any of the decisions made affect how previously placed bets are graded, we’ll check in with that here too. For now, the America East, Patriot, and Sun Belt conferences are having some games still to be played on home floors. For now, those are all

Here’s a chart we’ve created and will update as new information comes to us.
