The Oregon Ducks will be without their second leading scorer during their first matchup of the Pac-12 Tournament with the Oregon State Beavers. Junior guard Chris Duarte is expected to miss his fourth straight game with a broken pinky finger.

Duarte will miss the Pac-12 Tournament, and his availability for the NCAA Tournament is in doubt. According to an article on Ducksports.com, Dana Altman said he will find out how the healing is coming along late this week or early next week. Duarte is a huge piece to the Ducks’ success in the NCAA Tournament.

Duarte is averaging 12.9 points per game, only behind Payton Pritchard on the team. He is averaging 5.6 rebounds and 1.6 assists with a team-high 1.7 steals.

Oregon and Oregon State split the season series with each team winning by double digits at their home place. The Ducks won 69-54 on Feb. 27 in Duarte’s first game out of the lineup. Pritchard went for 23 points and knocked down five 3-pointers.

Oregon is listed as seven-point favorites according to DraftKings Sportsbook with an over/under set at 137.5. The Ducks are looking for their fifth win in a row, while Oregon State is coming in with three consecutive victories, looking to keep its season alive. Thursday’s winner will play either Arizona State or USC for a spot in the Pac-12 title.
