UPDATE: March 2, 5:20 p.m. — Drummond has been ruled out vs. the Jazz. Nance and Kevin Porter Jr. will start for the Cavaliers.
Andre Drummond is out. #Cavs are starting Kevin Love at the five and Larry Nance Jr. at the four. Kevin Porter Jr. will start at the two for Darius Garland.

Cleveland Cavaliers C Andre Drummond is being listed as doubtful for Monday night’s game vs. the Utah Jazz. Drummond had missed the past two games for the Cavaliers due to a calf injury. He returned to the lineup on Saturday and played 35 minutes, scoring 27 points with 13 rebounds. It seems the Cavs are OK getting Drummond rest the remainder of the regular season.
Fantasy basketball and betting analysis: Andre Drummond injury
The Cavaliers will already be without Darius Garland for this game and it isn’t looking good for Drumm. If he sits, Kevin Love ($7,000) and Larry Nance Jr. ($5,200) are in great spots to return value. We already know Tristan Thompson is going to be out due to a knee contusion. As for value plays, Cedi Osman ($3,900) and Ante Zizic ($3,000) may need to play front court minutes despite the outcome of the game. If it’s a blowout, garbage minutes could be in line for both players.
Injury news has been insane on Monday. The line on this game is now up to 9.5 in favor of the Jazz. I still like Utah on the spread despite being on the road. Cleveland has played better basketball since John Beilein left, but the Jazz are in another class. There really isn’t much value betting any of the lines or spreads for UTA-CLE right now. In-game is where stuff might open up a bit.
