Full list of Los Angeles Rams 2020 NFL draft capital, needs, dream pick

The Los Angeles Rams put the future off to win now and they came up short against the Patriots in the Super Bowl. Now that team is falling apart. They had to release Todd Gurley and Clay Matthews and have lost Dante Fowler, Cory Littleton, Nickell Robey-Coleman, Mike Brockers to free agency.

They were able to bring in OLB Leonard Floyd and DL A’Shawn Robinson to help a little, but overall, this hasn’t been a positive offseason for the Rams.

Team needs

Offense

Offensive line is a need, especially with Jared Goff’s trouble last season when under pressure. The line was a strength in 2018 but regressed in 2019. They did re-sign Andrew Whitworth, but he is 39-years old and those around him haven’t progressed as well as the team hoped. They’re still a good unit, but this offense needs them to be great.

Defense

Losing Littleton hurts and grabbing his replacement in the draft would be great, but with little draft capital, they may have to rely on projects.

The team is still strong in the defensive line with Aaron Donals, but losing Fowler will hurt the pass rush. Finding another edge player who can get to the quarterback would be ideal, but again, starting with the 52nd pick overall, with just six overall picks, isn’t a great place to be.

Dream first pick

With the 52nd pick overall it’s tough to dream too big, but offensive line would be the goal. Isaiah Wilson out of Georgia might be asking for too much, but if we’re dreaming, he’s a player who has more than enough talent but needs to be coached up and could end up being a steal if he were to fall this far.
