UPDATE: 7:05 p.m. Green will play tonight against Wazzu.

The Arizona Wildcats could go into their third consecutive game without freshman guard Josh Green. He is listed as questionable for Thursday night’s matchup against the Washington State Cougars with a back injury.

Green sat out the previous two games, which were losses to the USC Trojans and UCLA Bruins. According to Tucson.com, Green returned to practice on Monday. Green is cleared to play, but he will get back in game action when he feel comfortable.

Arizona is on a three-game losing streak and stand right around a No. 7 seed heading into tonight’s game. The Wildcats have missed Green’s presence in a pair of road losses. He averages 11.9 points, 4.6 rebounds and 2.6 assists in 27 games.

The Wildcats are 14.5-point favorites at home against Washington State. These two teams met back on Feb. 1, a 66-49 victory for Arizona on the road. Green scored nine points on 4 of 11 shooting from the floor. The Wildcats are 10-5 against the spread at home, while Washington State is 2-7 against the number in road games this season.
