Behind 18 points from Avi Toomer, the No. 7 Bucknell Bison stunned the No. 2 American Eagles 64-59 at Bender Arena in Washington D.C. on Wednesday night.
IT'S OVER! BISON WIN! We're moving on to Boston for the semifinals! #rayBucknell #TheBisonWay pic.twitter.com/JaBJ1APYCp

The Bison shot 52% from the floor on the road, and held even in the rebounding battle with the favored Eagles.
The win changes all the projections in the Patriot League, as now the No. 3 Boston University Terriers will host a semifinal game against Bucknell Friday night, instead of traveling to face AU on the road.
It’s certainly a disappointing loss for the Eagles, who were five-point favorites and -215 on the money line. They were also +450 to win the Patriot League Championship and the NCAA Tournament automatic berth that comes with it.
But if you got a few dollars down on Bucknell before the the tournament started, congratulations: your +4000 ticket is for sure one of the best values in March Madness 2020 so far.
