Houston Rockets PG Russell Westbrook will sit the first half of a back-to-back this weekend, Saturday vs. the Charlotte Hornets. Westbrook is expected to return Sunday vs. the Orlando Magic. Eric Gordon (knee) has been ruled out Saturday after leaving Thursday’s loss.
Westbrook has generally been sitting out one game of back-to-back sets this season, so this isn’t all that surprising. It makes James Harden an incredibly appealing DFS play on Saturday’s slate given the Rockets will be down Westbrook and Gordon. Austin Rivers and Ben McLemore also get a nice boost given the depleted back court.
Eric Gordon is out Saturday against the Hornets with a sore knee. Russell Westbrook out for rest in first half of the back-to-back.
