Here we’ll go over the top fantasy basketball and DFS targets on DraftKings for Sunday’s eight-game main slate. We’ll consider players at each position, including some other options to help you craft your lineups. Here’s who we think are sure-fire DFS hits.
Point Guard
Luka Doncic, DAL vs. IND, $10,800 — Indiana’s backcourt depth could be sparse on Sunday. Malcolm Brogdon has been ruled out with a quad injury and Victor Oladipo is questionable with knee soreness. Doncic has consistently stuffed the stat sheet, and it’s unlikely that Aaron Holiday, T.J. McConell, and company will be able to slow him down. Don’t be surprised if he flirts with a triple-double like usual.
Other Options: Chris Paul, OKC vs. BOS, $7,500; Collin Sexton, CLE vs. SAS, $7,100
Shooting Guard
James Harden, HOU vs. ORL, $11,300 — Harden notched a triple-double in a loss to the Hornets on Saturday and should be fired up to redeem himself against the Magic. He scored 54 points when he last faced Orlando in November, and that was when they had star wing defender Jonathan Isaac. The Magic are a lesser team at the moment, so expect Harden to put on a show.
Other Options: DeMar DeRozan, SAS vs. CLE, $7,400
Small Forward
Jayson Tatum, BOS vs. OKC, $9,500 — Tatum has only scored less than 32 points in one of his last six games. He’s been on a ridiculous scoring tear and the Thunder aren’t strong at small forward. He tallied 26 points and 11 rebounds the last time he faced Oklahoma City, and 6’5” guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander shouldn’t be enough to contain Tatum at home in TD Garden.
Other Options: Jimmy Butler, MIA vs. WAS, $8,100; Kris Middleton, MIL vs. PHX, $6,500
Power Forward
Domantas Sabonis, IND vs. DAL, $8,700 — Sabonis is a double-double machine and has recorded one in eight straight games. Dallas forward Dorian Finney-Smith is questionable with a hip injury, so backup Maxi Kleber might have to step in against the Pacers’ All-Star big.
Other Options: Pascal Siakam, TOR vs. SAC, $8,800; Kevin Love, CLE vs. SA, $7,800
Center
Bam Adebayo, MIA vs. WAS, $8,000 — The Wizards have one of the weakest center rotations in basketball, and Adebayo is much more skilled than any of their fives. His defense should stifle the opposition and his fluidity with the ball away from the basket should make scoring and playmaking easy against less mobile defenders. Washington is one of the worst teams in the NBA at defending the center position, so $8,000 is a great price.
Other Options: Julius Randle, NYK vs. DET, $7,200
