The WCC semifinals take center stage tonight, as the No. 1 and No. 2 teams in that league in Gonzaga and BYU finally get on the court thanks to the league’s double-bye system.
The Zags draw the No. 4 San Francisco Dons, who they beat by four on the road, and 27 at home in the regular season. A loss tonight could put their No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament in jeopardy, but they’re likely safe either way. For now, the Zags are getting 77% of the bets and 82% of the cash at DraftKings Sportsbook while laying 13 points for tonight’s game in Las Vegas
BYU faces a much stiffer test in the Saint Mary’s Gaels, who is likely in the tournament no matter the results tonight. The Gaels won this event last year, and shoot 38.8% from three-point range as a team. The line has moved from -3 to -4.5 at DK, with 57% of the bets but only 35% of the handle on the Cougars.
And for the SoCon championship, the Wofford Terriers face the East Tennessee State Buccaneers, who might make the field as an at-large even with a loss. The Buccaneers are 29-4, but only 1-1 in Quadrant 1 games. It’s a tough ask with that light a schedule, but it’s not impossible.
