San Antonio Spurs PG Dejounte Murray has a strained calf after getting an MRI and will be out indefinitely. Murray was injured in Sunday’s OT loss to the Cavaliers after scoring 17 points with seven boards and a season-high six steals. The Spurs also lost Lonnie Walker to a shin contusion, which isn’t deemed too serious. San Antonio is also down LaMarcus Aldridge, Jakob Poeltl and Marco Belinelli.
Spurs guard Dejounte Murray underwent a MRI this morning revealing a right calf strain, according to the Spurs. The hits just keep on coming. He’s out indefinitely.

With Murray sidelined, the Spurs should lean on Derrick White and Patty Mills at PG for what could be the rest of the season. Bryn Forbes should get a nice uptick in usage and shots as well. Really, the Spurs are just incredibly thin right now. DeMar DeRozan and Rudy Gay are going to have to pick up some slack too. Sort of an all-hands on deck situation.
