The AFC North matchup between the Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers will be Sunday’s third and final Madden sim. Kickoff will be at 8:00 p.m. ET, and DraftKings will have one last Showdown contest for the game to wrap up the weekend. We break down the ideal lineup strategy, and you can set your lineup here.
Lamar Jackson, QB, Ravens ($16,800)
Jackson will almost always be the best captain’s pick in games where the Ravens are involved. His speed (96) is the highest among quarterbacks and the third highest mark in the game regardless of position. He has a reliable tight end in Mark Andrews and the lightning quick Marquise Brown out wide.
Ben Roethlisberger, QB, Steelers ($16,200)
If you want to save a little money for the rest of your lineup, consider subbing Jackson for Roethlisberger. JuJu Smith-Schuster is the top receiver in the contest. He has the highest rating (86) and the best catching (91). James Conner won’t match Jackson and Mark Ingram’s productivity on the ground, so Roethlisberger might take more shots down the field than the Ravens. That could result in some chunk yardage and bug time scoring plays.
Justin Tucker, K, Ravens ($4,000)
Tucker has the most reliable leg around. His 87 overall rating is the highest mark in the game at his position. His 98 kicking power is second to only Graham Gano’s 99, but his 98 kicking accuracy is what sets him apart from the competition. If any player is gonna nail a few through the uprights from the parking lot, it’ll be Tucker. Even if he doesn’t boot any from deep, he’s more than likely to connect on all of his other attempts.
Diontae Johnson, WR, Steelers ($2,800)
We’ve seen wideouts who aren’t starters have significant impact on the outcome of quite a few games, and I think Johnson could give us a breakout performance against Baltimore. The Ravens have solid defensive backs across the board, but Johnson could avoid matchups with Marcus Peters and Marlon Humphrey because he ranks behind Smith-Schuster and James Washington.
