The Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens will face off in a simulated Madden 20 game Tuesday, and DraftKings will have DFS contests available for the matchup. We break down the ideal showdown lineup strategy for the contest, which you can play at DraftKings.
Mark Andrews, TE ($10,500) or Travis Kelce, TE ($13,800)
Lamar Jackson and Patrick Mahomes were more fun in real life, but through two games, Andrews and Kelce have been the two of the top three scorers between these two teams. Tyreek Hill is second in scoring, but at $15,900 is considerably more expensive. Kelce is the better rated player (99 overall, 99 awareness, 91 catch), but Andrews is intriguing at his price point and has the highest DKFP average of this matchup through two games at 13.6.
Patrick Mahomes, QB ($11,800) or Lamar Jackson, QB ($11,200)
You’re going to want one of the two in your lineup, but given the prices, flexing them looks like a better option than the Captain spot. Neither has been great through two games apiece, with Mahomes averaging 10.4 DKFP and Jackson averaging 11.0 DKFP. However, with Mahomes a 99 overall and Jackson a 92 overall, the upside is tremendous.
Sammy Watkins, WR ($6,600)
Tyreek Hill broke through in the second week, but remains cost prohibitive. Watkins is a distant second to Hill in overall rating (81 to 96), but Watkins is the second highest-rated wide receiver in the game. He’s averaging three receptions and nearly 50 yards per game, but has not found the end zone yet. A flex play is betting on him hitting pay dirt.
Seth Roberts, WR ($3,600)
If you’re looking to pinch some pennies to go big on the rest of your roster, Roberts is off to a decent start. A touchdown in the Ravens’ second game boosted his average, but the simulator has him getting some targets from Jackson. This is a low ceiling move, but it opens up your roster for some greater value elsewhere.
