Wednesday’s first Madden 20 simulation will be between the Cincinnati Bengals and Miami Dolphins. As usual DraftKings will have an NFL DFS contest for the game. We break down the best Showdown lineup strategy for the matchup, and you can play at DraftKings.

Captain’s Picks

DeVante Parker, WR, Dolphins ($14,100)

Parker is averaging more than 91 receiving yards per game and has scored in all three of his Madden 20 sims so far. His DKFP average (19.7) is higher than every player in the contest but Ryan Fitzpatrick, who is the most expensive player available. Rolling with Parker when he’s been more productive than higher priced players is the most effective way to fill out your flex spots with higher quality players.

A.J. Green, WR, Bengals ($10,000)

Green might be the third most expensive player, but he’s also the highest rated (90) skill player in the game. Even though he hasn’t put up great numbers so far, he has big play potential — especially since he’ll likely be matched up against Xavien Howard, who has an overall rating of 82, for most of the game. His 92 catching and 96 catching in traffic could be lethal against the Dolphins’ secondary.

Flex Men

Mike Gesicki, TE, Dolphins ($7,800)

The Bengals have most of the desirable players in this game. A.J. Green, Joe Mixon, and Tyler Boyd will be fixtures in most lineups. Gesicki has better value at a lower price and could easily match their stats as the Dolphins’ second best offensive weapon.

Giovani Bernard, RB, Bengals ($3,200)

Bernard has only been slightly less effective than Mixon ($9,000), but is $5,800 less is a flex. Although Mixon is the more versatile of the two, Bernard has recorded seven receptions to Mixon’s zero so far through three sims. Get a massive discount and hope for some PPR points from Bernard.
