Wednesday’s three-game Madden slate will feature the Cincinnati Bengals, Miami Dolphins, Cleveland Browns, Oakland Raiders, Philadelphia Eagles, New Orleans Saints. DraftKings will have a classic contest for available, and we break down some ideal DFS strategies below. You can pick your lineup and play at DraftKings.
Drew Brees ($7,700) vs. Philadelphia Eagles
Brees’ numbers haven’t popped so far. He ranks fourth among quarterbacks in DKFP per game, but Wednesday is a good day to change that. He has a diverse arsenal at his disposal and would be good to stack with Michael Thomas against the Eagles’ lackluster secondary.
Other options: Baker Mayfield ($6,100) vs. Raiders
Kareem Hunt ($4,400) vs. Oakland Raiders
Hunt averages more DKFP per game (9.12) than four of the six starters in the slate. His versatility as a pass catcher makes him a threat to score on the ground or through the air. You can’t beat this price for a running back.
Alvin Kamara ($6,600) vs. Philadelphia Eagles
The Eagles’ defense should be spread thin covering Thomas and Jared Cook. Kamara is averaging more than 70 rushing yards and 14 receiving yards through three sims. He and hunt are both desirable from a PPR perspective.
Other option: Miles Sanders ($5,400) vs. Saints
Michael Thomas ($8,400) vs. Philadelphia Eagles
Thomas is the highest rated (99) wideout in the game and has an extremely accurate quarterback in Brees throwing to him. The Eagles’ best cornerback has an 80 overall. Thomas should be able to dominate despite his current DKFP average of 7.6 points.
De’Vante Parker ($6,200) vs. Cincinnati Bengals
Only Tyrell Williams is averaging more DKFP per game than Parker. Williams was held to a measly 3.1 DKFP in his last contest though while Parker’s numbers have been more consistent. A.J. Green ($7,300) and Odell Beckham Jr. ($7,100) are the only stars, but parker is the best option available, but Parker sits atop that second group.
Other option: Jarvis Landry ($5,000) vs. Raiders
Zach Ertz ($5,800) vs. New Orleans Saints
Ertz is the top pass catcher on his team but is cheaper than Alshon Jeffery ($6,400). You can’t find any other team’s top offensive weapon for this cheap. Ertz scored two touchdowns in his last outing and trails only Darren Waller ($4,800) and Mike Gesicki in DKFP per game.
Other option: Mike Gesicki ($4,200) vs. Bengals
Browns D/ST ($3,800) vs. Oakland Raiders
The Browns might only be averaging the lowest DKFP per game (2.0) in the slate, but I like their odds to get after Derek Carr with Myles Garrett. Josh Jacobs hasn’t done much on the ground, so the entire offense will depend on Carr and the receiving corps.
Other option: New Orleans Saints ($3,700) vs. Philadelphia Eagles
