The Carolina Panthers and Seattle Seahawks will play in a Madden sim Wednesday at 8:00 p.m. ET. We break down the ideal Showdown lineup strategy for the DFS contest centered around the matchup here. You can set your lineup and play at DraftKings.
Russell Wilson, QB, Seahawks ($16,800)
Wilson has the second highest rating in the game at his position and has a skill set suited for racking up points. While he’s only eclipsed 20 DKFP once so far, he’s thrown for five scores and rushed for one while averaging just under 50 rushing yards per game. He’s the best deep ball thrower and has two starting receivers capable of making big plays down the field.
Christian McCaffrey, RB, Panthers ($15,000)
McCaffrey has been a hit-or-miss player, but still has a ton of upside. His high is 34.3 DKFP, but he’s also fallen below 13 fantasy points in his three simulations. Nevertheless, being versatile and having a 99 rating make him hard to pass up — especially when he’s the third most expensive player in the contest
Curtis Samuel, WR, Panthers ($5,600)
Samuel is the cheapest of the starting wideouts in this contest. But he also averages the most DKFP per game (11.9) at his position. His 95 speed makes him a candidate turn short catches into big plays.
Panthers Defense/Special Teams ($4,200)
Carolina has had one of the most dominant defenses we’ve seen so far. It’s reached double digits in three of the four simulations it’s been a part off. While it did record -1 DKFP against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, it’s consistently been forcing fumbles and getting sacks in other matchups.
