The New Orleans Saints enter the 2020 NFL Draft with five picks, including the 24th overall pick. New Orleans traded away their 2020 second-round pick to move up in 2019 to draft offensive lineman Eric McCoy. Their final pick is in the seventh round at No. 222 overall.
The biggest moves the Saints made this offseason was acquiring wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders and safety Malcolm Jenkins in free agency, which filled two holes they needed to address. They could still go after a wide receiver and secondary help, but it isn’t as big a need now, moving linebacker atop their list of needs. They also need a quarterback for the future, as Drew Brees is close to retirement and Taysom Hill isn’t the longterm answer.
We’ll be tracking their picks throughout the three days of the 2020 NFL Draft, as well as any trades they make between now and the end of Saturday.
