The Carolina Panthers and Miami Dolphins will face off in a Friday Madden sim at 2:00 p.m. ET. We break down the ideal Showdown lineup strategy ahead of the DFS contest DraftKings has available for the game. You can set your lineup here before kickoff.
Captain’s Picks
Christian McCaffrey, RB, Panthers ($10,600)
Miami has holes all over its defense and McCaffrey is the most dangerous weapon on either team. He can run between the tackles, outside the tackles, and can break loose via the passing game. His price isn’t far from Cam Newton’s ($10,800), but he’s easily the most dangerous player in this matchup.
DeVante Parker, WR, Dolphins ($10,800)
The Dolphins don’t have an ideal running back situation, and their second best wideout has a 76 overall rating. Carolina has two quality cornerbacks in Donte Jackson and James Bradberry who can make things hard for lesser pass catchers. Parker exploded for 33.5 DKFP against the Los Angeles Chargers’ top-notch secondary in his last outing and should be a priority for the Dolphins.
Flex Men
Mike Gesicki, TE, Dolphins ($9,600)
Gesicki is Miami’s second best pass catcher and will probably finish as a top three point scorer for the Dolphins — alongside Ryan Fitzpatrick and Parker.
Curtis Samuel, WR, Panthers ($7,000)
Samuel has logged more than 90 receiving yards in three straight games and is coming off back-to-back hundred yard games. His 95 speed gives him big play ability, and he won’t be matched up against the Dolphins’ best cornerback. He’s the second most productive wideout in the contest behind Parker.
