The 2020 NFL Draft enters its final and longest day on Saturday. The fourth round kicks off at 12 p.m. ET with the Cincinnati Bengals picking first once again. They still have a variety of needs to address, but quarterback is not one of them. They could surprise later in the day three, but they will not spend their fourth round pick on a quarterback.
Through three rounds, five quarterbacks have been selected. Joe Burrow, Tua Tagovailoa, Justin Herbert, and Jordan Love all went in the first round, and Jalen Hurts was a surprising selection of the Philadelphia Eagles in the second round. It’s anybody’s guess which quarterback will go next, but Jacob Eason and Jake Fromm are the two most notable names still on the board.
Some of the top quarterbacks still on the board include Eason, Fromm, Anthony Gordon, James Morgan, Cole McDonald, Nate Stanley, Mason Fine, Jake Luton, Steven Montez, and Tyler Huntley.
There are not nearly as many mock drafts for day three as days one and two, but some still exist. College Football News put together a day three NFL mock draft and has Eason going 29th in the fourth round (No. 135 overall) to the Pittsburgh Steelers, and Fromm going 34th in the fourth round (No. 140 overall) to the Jacksonville Jaguars. FantasyPros put together their own day three mock draft and has from going 34th in the fifth round (No. 179 overall) to the Dallas Cowboys, and Eason going 18th in the seventh round (No. 232 overall) to the Pittsburgh Steelers. FantasyPros has Gordon as the first quarterback off the board on day three, going 14th in the fifth round (No. 159 overall) to the New England Patriots.
Fromm and Eason were once teammates at Georgia before Eason transferred to Washington. Now, at DraftKings Sportsbook, you can bet on when they will be drafted and who will go first of the two. Fromm’s draft position over/under is 125.5 with equal juice on both sides. Eason’s draft position over/under is 120.5, with over (121 or later) at even money, and under (120 or sooner) at -122. Eason is -335 to be drafted first of the two, while Fromm is +260. If you buy into the FantasyPros mock draft, there could be some value there.
