Quarterback dynasty rankings for 2020 fantasy football

Patrick Mahomes sits atop our QB dynasty rankings. Will Lamar Jackson pass him in 2020?

The NFL Draft is over and it’s time to delve into 2020 fantasy football dynasty league rankings for quarterbacks. The Draft, as usual, gave us some new faces at quarterback who will likely start from Day 1 in the NFL. Joe Burrow was snagged No. 1 overall and will get all the leeway the Bengals can give while Tua Tagovailoa should get the same treatment in Miami. Both shoot up the dynasty rankings based on ability and opportunity.

Justin Herbert is next in the rookie tiers, as he too was drafted early and will get all the chances possible to be the franchise quarterback for the Chargers. But, after Herbert, we’re back to the top players in the league and need to look at age, situation and ability to help us rank them.

Kyler Murray and Dak Prescott both got shiny new receivers to help boost their longterm upside, as the Cardinals stole DeAndre Hopkins from the Texans while CeeDee Lamb fell into the Cowboys lap in the draft. But, they still are in the second tier behind Patrick Mahomes and Lamar Jackson, who have proven their upside is too high to group with the normals.

After DeShaun Watson and Russell Wilson, there is a lot of room for movement for young quarterbacks to rise in the rankings. This gives you a good opportunity to grab a player like Dwayne Haskins or Daniel Jones if you like them more than the rest of your league but you can also stick with veteran QBs who always seem to last a few more years than we estimate.
