eNASCAR iRacing Pro Series: Odds for Bristol Motor Speedway Race on Sunday

The best drivers in NASCAR will still be racing, just via computer from the comfort of their home.

For the first time since the eNASCAR iRacing Pro Invitational Series was created three weeks ago in the wake of the coronavirus crisis, DraftKings Sportsbook will have odds available in West Virginia and New Hampshire on the virtual race as drivers will compete in their homes from across America for the title.

This weeks’ iRacing series will replicate Bristol Motor Speedway, and Thunder Valley will provide just as tough a test digitally as it does in reality.

So far we’ve had two winners the last two Sundays: Denny Hamlin at Homestad Miami, and Timmy Hill at Texas Motor Speedway last week. They’ll both have odds towards the top of the board, but the favorite is still William Byron, who came from the iRacing ranks to start his career before he eventually found success in the NASCAR Cup Series driving the #24 Chevrolet.

Here’s some of our best bets for this virtual race this weekend:

William Byron (+400)

Byron’s race experience in this format is just too much to overcome for the field in the long run. If it wasn’t for this bump by Timmy Hill last week, Byron would have claimed his first race already after leading 80 of 125 laps last week. And if this does end up being a full season of racing, expect Byron to be at the top of the points by the end of the campaign.

Bubba Wallace (+3000)

Finished seventh two weeks ago, and has been invested in iRacing long before this season turned to a digital-only campaign. Too much experience in this format to be getting 30-1 at any track, much less one that’s as difficult as Bristol.

Ryan Preece (+2000)

Has finished eighth and second in the first two events, running well for the entire race. Him at +500 to finish in the Top 3 seems like a steal. The driver of the #37 Camaro is ready to break into the top of the iRacing field and still has plenty of value here.
