We’ll keep this article updated tonight with the results from Night 2 of WrestleMania 36 of each match, and update our list of the correct answers from the WrestleMania Challenge from DraftKings. If you’re a fan of the biggest weekend in sports entertainment, follow along here and see what happened!

Drew McIntyre defeats Brock Lesnar (c) by pinfall for WWE Universal Championship

Pretty straightfoward: Three German suplexes, three F5’s... but McIntyre kept kicking out. And then four Claymore kicks by McIntyre gets it done, and we’ve got a new WWE Champion. It’s been a terrific story in the build for Drew McIntyre, and it pays off with him holding the gold above the fallen Lesnar.

The Fiend Bray Wyatt defeats John Cena

I... I have no idea what we just saw. But the most amazing cinematic fever dream that was a merged history of the psyche of John Cena and a satire on the last 35 years of sports entertainment was incredible. Just go watch it, because it can’t even be described here. But we’re going to call that a win for The Fiend, even if it might have not been in this reality??

Titus O’Neil, your thoughts??

Bayley (C, SmackDown Women’s Champion) vs. Lacey Evans vs. vs. Tamina vs. Naomi vs. Sasha Banks

After some early fighting, including a brief reunion between Tamina, Sasha, and Naomi of the previous faction Team BAD, the four other women teamed up to eliminate the monster Tamina together. Sasha then gave Naomi the Bank Statement, and she fell by the wayside via submission. Then Bayley and Sasha teamed up to beat up Lacey, but a missed knee from Bayley flattened Sasha, and then Lacey flattened Sasha with A Woman’s Right.

And with Bayley and Lacey Evans the only two left, it looked like Evans was going to get the title after she hit a huge moonsault. But because the match was no disqualification, Sasha came back in and hit a backstabber on Evans that proved to be the difference. Bayley then got the 1-2-3 on Evans, and the sometimes turncoat Banks helped her best friend walk out with the title. But you could feel the tension as they walked out of the ring.

Street Profits defeat Angel Garza and Austin Theory

It was a quick one with The Profits yelling “WRESTLEMANIA” a ton before pulling some amazing moves, but as expected they get the win. And then we get a terrific appearance by Montez Ford of the Profits real-life wife Bianca Belair, who takes out Garza & Theory’s manager Zelina Vega at the end. The three standing tall at the end are the future of WWE, and it looks bright.

Edge defeats Randy Orton by count out (Last Man Standing)

It was maybe a bit long, and pretty cinematic, but eventually Edge counted out Orton with a Con-Chair-Two on the top of the NXT traveling trailer. You could feel the tension between the two from the opening of the match, which saw Edge take an RKO OUTTA NOWHERE as Orton disguised himself as a camera man to fool him from behind.

Eventually the two took off and went all over the front and back of the WWE Performance Center, from the offices to the storage area. But it was a really well-told story, and an excellent match.

Otis defeats Dolph Ziggler by pinfall

We still don’t know who leaked the video of Sonya Deville and Dolph Ziggler plotting against Mandy Rose, but what we do know is Otis ended up with the girl. After a match that saw Ziggler mostly get beaten up by the love-struck Otis, a low blow from Ziggler was countered by another one from Mandy Rose when she came down the ramp. It set up Otis’s Caterpillar finisher, and he gets the win with a kiss from the woman he was supposed to be on a Valentine’s Day date with just six weeks ago.

Love, clearly blind here, wins again.

Aleister Black defeats Bobby Lashley by pinfall

This match probably shouldn’t have been on WrestleMania anyway, but at least the finish was good. Lashley’s Boo Lana instructed him to spear Black when he was already in a prone position. Instead when Black got up, he hit Lashley with Black Mass, and then came the 1-2-3 pin.

Charlotte Flair defeats Rhea Ripley by submission

It was an almost-30 minute match to open the show, and they really let them go at each other, but Flair finally submitted the upstart Ripley with the Figure Eight. Both of them attacked each other’s legs with ferocity, including chop blocks and even a move where Ripley had her leg over the top rope and it looked like Flair blew out her ACL by pulling straight down on it.

But in the end The Queen reigns once again. Excellent match.
